Getting more art out of your phone

Yesterday morning I was still stumbling around with my first cup of coffee, checking my bloglovin feed with a sleepy eye, when french Über-blogger Garance Doré’s blog provided me with an information my inner procrastinator responded to immediately. An i-phone (or i-pad) app that could transform photos into pretty watercolors – I just had to try this out immediately, despite the lousy grey weather.

It took only a few hours for the Waterlogue app to spread like wildfire and get family and friends hooked as well. Eventually, I even ended up trying another one – Percolator –  from the same developers. Since some online commenters  seemed a bit skeptical, comparing the results to the watercolor filter on photoshop, I used the same (admittedly bad) pictures, absolutely untouched, in both programs, so you can judge by yourself.Image may be NSFW.
